a new seller from Serbia with a few dodgy looking coins.

I have seen this Valens die before, but it is supposed to be in silver, this (from the picture) looks more bronze.

This seller has a well known fake Theodosius for sell; though I think she (according to her picture) thinks it is real and doesn't know any better. If she continues to list well known fakes, though, I will add her to the list.

None of these fakes are very convincing...plus this fake is trying to copy Julian II not Magnus Maximus. Come on fakeseller...get it right!  :)

this guy has been on eBay since 2002, but I had not noticed him until today; though he is on other lists already--  hermescoins1

https://www.ebay.com/usr/hermescoins1

he currently has several fakes for sale. One is this well-known Theodahad.

Another is a fake Victor campgate that was part of a set that included unusually well made fakes of Hanniballianus, Vetranio, Magnentius, and Aelia Flaccilla.

the last is a flashback to 2003- 2004, to a fake that was part of a large group that started turning up in uncleaned lots with assorted other, noted by their crude style.

idr_58  this seller out of Morocco has some pretty terrible fakes for sale...but still getting bids.

https://www.ebay.com/usr/idr_58

maybe affiliated with babel-shop, also out of Morocco

idr_58 spews a lot of garbage about authenticity that he copied from another fakeseller-- ancienthistoryltd

this is a new account, but the seller has had other accounts like nanaz_ark   nanaz_nicknacks  my_pappas_pouch and noahs_ark_usa

noahsark2022

https://www.ebay.com/usr/noahsark2022

the fakes are tourist trinkets, but the nonsense on the sellers page is a descent into madness  ;D

** to all  'old coin treasure-hunters'  ~~  we hope you find the compounds you seek.  our trades are  as-is  guys & gals, please. do not be seeking economical gains from our assets; we are aware some people get a very good deal on assets sometimes, that's nice.

You may not trade for the item pictured if you are unfamiliar with it.  The title here may have errors, the facts are the photos. We deal with religious fanatics who do not like us (we are religious). We deal with angry historians / hobby mavens who have strong firm opinions & periodically cause trouble due their passion of Hobby. This is why we screen buyers before shipping. Again: The title of the listing may have errors because we don't know much about our assets.

All assets are traded as antiques even if they are 2500 year old municipal coins.

our antiques may be silver, gold, copper, a rock, token brass silver-plated, tin, clay, medallion, pewter bronze nickel; the asset/heirloom may be newer rather than older, or made of iron; Some older, some newer & all here mixed together for your fare fair consideration. We are not testing the compounds in each heirloom as it costs too much and we are not forProfit.

The trades in-Ark are for the families blessing, the item/items pictured deliver it.  History Trade-value & content are unknown for all Ark assets which we trade to make miracles; everything in-Ark needs a new home; Support our mission & Take Next-Watch.

We Don't trade to people with dormant accounts or newer accounts; it's nothing personal; it is our job. Send a warm message if you wish to complete our trade. Most people are happy. Have a great day."
