The Tancred coin below has the same style and artificial aging as many fake LRB's coming out of Bulgaria.

If you do not know about Tancred, he was a Norman (2nd generation Viking) on the 1st Crusade. This coin was struck circa A.D. 1104-1112 in Antioch.

I messaged the dealer and he is apparently ignoring me.

another known fake for sale by the same seller.

he also ignored messages about this coin. The coin was removed after admin stepped up.

Victor

the Tancred is still for sale.

Today I found this coin for sale on eBay from known fakeseller ancientreasure

ancientreasure  (13 Oct 2018)  old ID's    ancientr     rancient

look familiar?

the last fake also shows the same artificially aged (maybe chemically) surfaces. None of these fakes have convincing surfaces.
