Hi Victor, how are you ?
Hopefully you can clear this up for me, I have a Crispus VLPP from Siscia that I am struggling to nail down the Ric number for.
My coins Obverse legend isn't matching the examples on wildwinds, it is IVLCRI---SPVSNOBC.
Of those it could be, RIC 87, 97, 104 All have,  IVLCRIS---PUSNOBC.
Am I missing something ?
Obverse - IVLCRI---SPVSNOBC, Laureate, draped & cuirassed bust right
Reverse - VICTLAETAEPRINCPERP, 2 victories holding shield inscribed VOT-PR above alter with S.
Mintmark - Dot Gamma SIS Dot
Weight 3.20g
Size - 18mm

Victor

Your coin is RIC VII Siscia 87.

The obverse legend break does not determine the RIC number.

RIC notes several obverse legend breaks for this issue-

IVL CRIS-PVS NOB C or I-S or P-V

Thanks Victor.
I just couldn't figure which it was.
Not purchased much recently of note, only a really rough Zeno monogram.
Thx again
