Late Roman Bronze Coins

if you haven't already seen this story, get ready to be equal parts amused and mystified.

the amusing part is that none of these items is ancient-- notice the same fake patina,

the mystifying bit is that nobody in Egypt's interior ministry could tell that these were modern items...I thought at first it was some prank,like April Fool's Day. Also interesting is that this story was picked up by so many news sites without anyone knowing any better.
