This is a scarce, brief and historical issue, marking the recapture of Dacia province from germanic tribes. This restoration was shortlived though, as by the middle of 271, the Transdanubian territories that had already been demilitarized by Gallienus were evacuated and the population moved south of the Danube in a new Dacia province with Serdica as its capital.
