At first glance, this coin might not seem like much, but considering how rare coins from Eugenius are, it is pretty nice and has a good portrait.
Eugenius was a usurper in the West (installed by the real power- the Frank chieftain Arbogast) against Theodosius I and only lasted for two years before being executed after the Battle of Frigidus (modern day Slovenia).
