Very interesting and unusual obv. legend. I dont think there was another bronze/bilon issue of Constantine with VALERIVS full, no abbreviations.

Yes, this was the only time it was used that I know of, the next closest is VALER, also from Alexandria.

This is one of my most recent acquisitions. I like the style but also the obverse legend with the complete spelling of VALERIVS. I have not seen many of this type for sale, I wonder how rare it is.

It's a nice example. They are pretty rare, but I expect the premium put on these by some collectors is not appreciated by more casual collectors, mainly due to the reverse which looks like a regular GENIO type, the only difference with this coin being the obverse and reverse legends.
