Justin I pentanummium
« on: December 24, 2024, 11:36:46 AM »
I just found this Byzantine coin in my Roman junk box. I do not collect these so I am at a loss as I cannot find any examples of a PHI officina associated with a Pentanummius. Can anyone point me to an example? The Obverse under magnification has a legend of (DNIVSTINVSPFAVG). The reverse has the Epsilon and a Phi. Thanks!

I have attached it as a .pdf...it is very large
