I just won this Maxentius. I wanted it because of the double-strike on the reverse and the old collector ticket.

Maxentius, 306-312 Follis Ostia 308-309, Æ 25.00 mm., 6.45 g.
Laureate head r. Rev. The Dioscuri standing facing, heads turned toward each other, each holding bridle of horse in r. hand and sceptre in l.; between them, she-wolf standing l., head r., suckling the twins Romulus and Remus. In exergue, MOSTΓ. Drost 17d. RIC 16.

From the revd. dr. Simpson purchased on 16 December 1889. Ex Baldwin's sale 42, 2005, William C. Boyd, 689 (part of). Sold with original collector's ticket.

Lovely coin and provenance! Those old tickets always look so elegant. You probably already know, but some Baldwin’s auction catalogues are available on Internet Archives including the Boyd sale. There is a good bit of background on him in the opening pages: https://archive.org/details/auctionnumber42w00bald/page/10/mode/1up
