Licinius I VOT XX with cryptogram from Rome
« on: August 08, 2024, 09:43:42 AM »
I was looking through my trays and found this coin that I have had for a few years, but never got around to photographing it.

It is a Licinius from Rome with the cryptogram in the mintmark. The middle part, EROS, is in Greek; which in Latin is amor. Amor and Roma are palindromes-- they read the same backward or forward.
