« on: December 28, 2023, 01:00:11 PM »

Here's an unofficial coin I recently won

Constantine I, circa 318-319. Follis (Bronze, 18 mm, 2.5g), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Thessalonica (VOT XX MVLT XXX cf. Thessalonica 30), irregular mint, after 318. Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to left; around, imitative legend formed out of fourteen Π. Rev. XXXX / XXXXX / XXXX in three lines; in background, elongated symmetrical volute; all within stylized wreath.

the second coin below is what it is trying to copy.
