I think your new coin is indeed RIC 88; though the bust is longer than other types. There are other examples like this from the East, like RIC VI Antioch 145a (facing left) but a bit rarer in the West. For another example of this bust see RIC VI London 68; which is shown in the plate coins. I think the authors of RIC VI were just inconsistent in some coin descriptions-- calling a bust half length sometimes, like Aquileia 89, or just cuirassed like London 68.
