several Carthage coins from the Tetrarchy
« on: June 06, 2020, 11:05:27 AM »
I just noticed that I have won several nice Carthage coins over the past few weeks from eBay auctions and figured I would post the auction photos. I like these Carthage coins and these are pretty sharp examples.

Those are very nice. I am always fascinated by the ragged flans on these coins.

Yes, it is interesting how roughly the flans were cast compared to flans of other Tetrarchic coins of the time...part of the reason I like them, is that they stand out visually.
