This is a not very convincing fake that is currently for sale. Interestingly, an attempt at silvering has been made, though it does not look very good, almost like it has been spray painted.
Of course, even if he had used a silver plating solution, the coin would still be a terrible looking fake, only it would have a nice silver wash.
