Maximianus PAX AVGG from Lyons with Minerva on reverse.
« on: January 13, 2020, 02:13:54 PM »

Here is a fairly rare PAX from Lyons with Minerva instead of the usual depiction of Pax. I have attached a Pax (Lyons 399) reverse for comparison -- note the olive branch instead of Victory and spear and shield instead of sceptre. Also note the helmet on Minerva. The seller did not notice it was Minerva; though some of the other bidders might have.
