This is a fairly rare type for Valentinian II. Technically, it is unlisted since RIC could not confirm the workshop for the example cited. It is rare because of the cross in wreath in the left field. At least it looks like a wreath, though it could be a shield. Despite no wreath ties being visible, it has a thicker border like a wreath. RIC IX does not describe it, it only shows a picture of equilateral cross in a circle.
