Yesterday I got three nice Constantine I coins on eBay. None are exceptionally rare or even in that great of condition; but they are interesting.
The first is a VLPP from Siscia. It has an obverse legend with MAX in it. This is the first use of MAX in the East for Constantine I and it was only used for this coin, RIC 52, none of the other VLPP from Siscia used it.
The second is a half follis from Trier. The legend is SOLI INVICTO; leaving off the COMITI found on the usual follis.
The last coin is a MART PATRI PROPVG from London, which is a scarcer coin.
