Here's a rarer type for Hostilian, son of Trajan Decius and Herennia Etruscilla.
His father and older brother, Herennius Etruscus, were killed by Goths at the battle of Arbitrus in the summer of A.D. 251. After the deaths, the Roman legions proclaimed Trebonianus Gallus the next emperor; and, in July of A.D. 251, he elevated Hostilian to co-emperor. Hostilian died in November of A.D. 251, either, according to differing sources, from plague or at the hand of Trebonianus Gallus.
