Maximianus from Rome that looks like Carinus
« on: November 17, 2018, 12:42:35 PM »

This coin of Maximianus bears quite the resemblance to Carinus. This is an early issue for Maximianus and the engravers at Rome may not have been sure of what he looked liked, so they merely copied the image of Carinus.
