Falling Horseman of the day
« on: November 10, 2012, 11:41:14 PM »
Today's mail brought me a coin I have been wanting for quite a while simply because it is the fifteenth of the fifteen mints that struck Falling Horseman coins.  I have had 14 out of the 15 for over a years now but this RIC rated 'Common' coin eluded me.  I would like to have it joined by the earlier FH2 version but for now am happy to have this one.   It is Trier RIC 350 page 167 FH3 TRS.

Congrats on the new addition. I have only casually collected this series, but I did collect Constantinopolis from every one of the thirteen mints that produced them and remember how glad I was to have an example from each mint. Of course, then I started on different mintmarks from each mint...it just never ended!
